Objective: By the end of the course the student will be able to demonstrate the competence in herbarium techniques, use of diagnostic keys and identifying plants.

Course content:

The student will collect, prepare and identify a specified number of herbarium specimens under the guidance of a senior academic staff member.

>< Methodology: Field visits and laboratory work.

Scheme of evaluation: Assignments and specimen identification.
