Objectives : At the end of this unit the students will be able to effectively analyse a data set using a standard statistical package.

Summarization of data using tabular, graphical and numerical methods, Exploratory data analysis, Inferences based on a single sample, Inferences based on two samples, One way analysis of variance, Randomized block design, Modeling bivariate data, Computer solution to simple linear regression problems, Multiple linear regressions, Variable selection procedures, Nonparametric methods, Contingency table analysis.
