>< Objective:
At the end of this course, the student will be able to
demonstrate competence in recognizing form and structure of plants and in identifying
and characterizing angiosperms.
>< Course content:
Laboratory exercises to study and illustrate
the cellular organization, cell types, morphological features, modifications,
tissue distribution. Primary and secondary growth of angiosperms. Plant identification:
diagnostic features of plant families, use and construction of diagnostic keys,
herbarium techniques.
>< Methodology: Five
hours of laboratory exercises per week.
>< Scheme of evaluation: End of course practical
examination and practical reports.
