Title : Fundamentals of Modern Biology

Objectives : At the completion of this course, the student will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of fundamentals of Biology and applications of modern Biology.

Course Content :

Introduction to living world. Cell as the basic unit of life. Basic pattern of inheritance, genetic material. Introduction to gene function and applications of genetic engineering. Common diseases and disorders in man. Beneficial and harmful microorganisms.
