• the techniques used in disease diagnosis,
• the clinical application of serological techniques.
>< Course content :
Laboratory exercises to illustrate the contents
and special features emphasized in lecture course in Medical & Veterinary
microbiology. Bacteria of the skin, Bacteria of the mouth, Bacteria of the respiratory
tract, Chemical methods of control: Disinfectants and Antiseptics, Action of
Antibiotics and dyes. Immunological techniques used in disease diagnosis- Blood
Test, Agglutination Reaction, Tube Agglutination, Compliment fixation, ELISA.

practical and demonstration classes.
