Title : Systems Analysis and Design

Objectives : At the end of this course the student should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the key principles and techniques of systems analysis and design, and the ways in which they are employed in the development of information systems to meet the needs of organizations. Particular emphasis will be given to the study of the role that analysts are expected to play in systems development.

An Introduction to the Systems Process, The Systems Development Life Cycle, Systems Analysis and Modeling, The Philosophy and Techniques of Systems Design, Modeling Tools for the Systems Analyst, Systems Implementation and Management, Quality Assurance and Testing, Prototyping, Maintaining and Managing the Systems Process, Issues in Information Systems Project Management.
