Main Group Chemistry

Comparative chemistry of s, p, and d block elements.

Coordination Chemistry

Classification of ligands, IUPAC nomenclature, isomerism, bonding theories of coordination complexes, electronic spectra and magnetic properties.

Aqueous Solution Chemistry

Acid-base titrimetry, precipitation and gravimetric methods, metal ligand complexes, complexometry, redox reactions, metal ion speciation.
