Selected reactions of hydrocarbons,
halides, alcohols, phenols, ethers, carbonyl compounds, carboxylic acids, derivatives
of carboxylic acids, nitro compounds and amines.
Aromatics and Heterocyclics
Conjugation
concept of aromaticity, Huckel's
rules. Aromatic carbocyclic compounds, nomenclature , synthesis, physical and
chemical properties of heterocyclic compounds with one heteroatom (pyrrole,
