>< Objectives: Widen the students’
approach to problem solving & design. To give students experience of an
industrially relevant, commercially used programming language. To demonstrate
the ability to select and change the working properties of object that makes
up the GUI. To apply conventional structured programming techniques to the code
written for event driven procedure.

Principles of multimedia document
management, Hypertext, Hypermedia, distributed multimedia, web designing tools,
HTML, creation of web sites, Adding multimedia features, Aspects of maintaining
websites, security features. E-commerce; Overview of e-commerce applications,
web enabled systems, Legal and regulatory aspects of e-commerce, new trends
and implications of e-commerce applications.
Practical sessions : using
HTML, FrontPage or any other suitable software.

The course will be delivered in a combination of Lectures
supervised hands on practical sessions, tutorials and group work.
