>< Teaching and learning objectives:
The aim of the course is to introduce the various kinds
of problems related to any form of a business transaction in which parties interact
electronically rather than by physical exchanges or direct physical contacts
and how different Web technologies can be used to overcome those problems.
On successful completion of the course students will be able to design and develop
Web applications for business organizations.

Introduction to the Internet, the
World Wide Web, client-server model, Apache, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, client-side
programming, server side programming, server side includes, Perl, security issues.
>< Methodology:
The course will be delivered in a combination of Lectures,
supervised hands on practical and group work.
>< Scheme of Evaluation:
End-of- semester examination and continuous assessment.
