>< Objectives: By the end of this course
the students will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in various
advanced methods employed in sampling terrestrial and aquatic habitats, various
advanced methods employed in measuring the physico-chemical and biological parameters
in aquatic habitats, analyzing the organization at community and ecosystem levels.
>< Course contents:
Sampling in terrestrial and aquatic habitats,
Physico-chemical and Biological characteristics of water bodies, Diversity indices,
Effect of pollution on aquatic environments, Study of food habits of mammals
and birds in relation to their morphology.

work, field studies, assignments

examination and continuous assessment.
